Lea Verou came on and did a great talk on CSS3. The first half was mostly covering the basics of the new features and what was supported by which browsers where we heard far too often… “But not IE”. Suprise Suprise.

She really impressed the crowd with her CSS3 and HTML5 slides demonstrating CSS examples updated on the fly when she played with code. Wicked! Go Girl!

She also discussed with us a bunch of tips on progressive enhancement and graceful degradation, with most important being browsers ignore stuff that they don’t understand, making graceful degradation super easy.
